I am a Clinical Aromatherapist and Naturopathic Nutritional Therapist, also qualified in various forms of massage for both relaxation and remedial treatments and mindfulness. If you are looking to optimise your health and vitality or reduce stress and gain life balance, I can support you using a wide range of modalities – essential oil and hydrolat therapy, nutrition, herbs, lifestyle, massage and stress management. I generally provide massage as part of a package of wellness for face to face clients as my work is mainly clinically based working long term with clients who are experiencing chronic or long term ill health.

Having been interested in natural health for many years, in 2011 I decided to train to be an aromatherapist. My daughter had been in school for a couple of years and I had no desire to return to primary teaching! It wasn’t long before I was looking to extend my modalities and was drawn to study herbal medicine. For health reasons I was unable to continue as it required me to travel for study so in 2017 I enrolled with the College of Naturopathic Medicine in Bristol. After 3 years of study, I qualified with a diploma in naturopathic nutrition in January 2022 and in March 2022 completed my clinical aromatherapy upgrade to add further skills to support clients on their wellness journey. I have also done further training in the use of herbs and Bach Flower Remedies.

Although my work is predominantly with women specialising in my particular interest of fatigue, stress and anxiety, burnout and female health; I do also have male clients who are referred to me by current clients. Life experiences have provided me with plenty of opportunities to work out what is needed to get back onto the road of health and vitality so I can fully empathise with those who are looking to change their lifestyles in order to regain optimum health. Please get in touch if you would like to discuss any current health issues that you are having to find out if I can help you.

With all new clients, I provide a free initial enquiry call to ensure that your needs match my skills and experience and to provide me with some background information prior to our appointment.

My Philosophy

I believe that much of what ails us can be remedied by closely examining how we live our lives based on some basic pillars of good health. To give yourself the best chance to be healthy and full of vitality, it’s important to focus on a lifestyle that provides the following:

  • appropriate levels of physical activity
  • unprocessed nutritious food
  • undertaking activities that promote health
  • optimise sleep quality
  • manage and reduce chronic stress
  • avoid toxic overload
  • develop healthy relationships, and a feeling a sense of purpose and belonging

It doesn’t have to be perfect, but if any one of these aspects has fallen by the wayside, your health will begin to suffer. I have discovered that if you are perpetually and chronically stressed, the body cannot return to the restful, healing state known as the parasympathetic state. Our bodies are amazingly good at healing and when fully relaxed, you can return to optimum health provided the other pillars of health are in place.

How to work with me

No matter where you are located, geography is no obstacle, as I work remotely using video conferencing services (Zoom) for clinical aromatherapy and nutritional therapy and you can book a completely free initial assessment to make sure I am the right therapist for you.

I work from a dedicated cosy home clinic room using exclusively organic products wherever available and endeavour to provide the best quality of care possible to nurture you back to health.
