Molecules of Emotion by Candace B Pert PhD

Literally mind blowing read for me, so will always be top of my favourite books list! It’s a bit science-y, but profound insights from the researcher Candace Pert, who dismissed the age old paradigm of the mind and body being separate! This led me down a very interesting path of self study with books written by Gabor Mate, Bessel van der Kolk and others and sparked my interest in psychoneuroimmunology – the study of the interaction between psychological processes and the nervous and immune systems of the human body.
